Sunceco installed PV plants on 5 schools in Vukovar/Srijem county in Croatia. The schools are producing the electricity for their own needs while the online monitoring system enables smart consumption. Installed capacity is about 55kw per school.
Two of the schools are additionally benefiting from storing the energy in the 150 kWh batteries end selling the surplus of electricity into the grid. The batteries are mobile and are considered to be used by regional government in risk situations, covering energy needs of 200,000 inhabitants.
In addition to solar facilities, the PV plants are equipped with the weather station system for weather conditions monitoring.
